Warranty and conditions

Warranty conditions and certificate

Score chairs are manufactured with the utmost care from durable materials. Our principle in developing our chairs is that the expected lifespan is 10 years under professional use and maintenance, based on a usage load of 8 hours per day.

Score provides a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty against construction and manufacturing defects. If a chair or stool fails within these 5 years, parts can often be easily replaced under warranty. Even if parts fail outside the warranty period, it is still possible to order replacement parts.

This warranty is an addition to your statutory rights and does not affect the rights you have under the law, including the right to a product that is fit for purpose. You can contact the dealer where you purchased your Score product. They will ensure a proper solution and handling.

Conditions and exlusions

The warranty applies under the following conditions:
•    The product has an intact and original product label.
•    If the product is a medical device in accordance with MDR 2017/745 and produced after 17 May 2021, it
must have an intact and original UDI identification label (CE).
•    The warranty does not apply if the delivered product has been modified in such a way that the defect
could have resulted from the modification.
•    For electronic components, upholstery type K11 (artificial leather), and the Score Atlantic Office footrest,
the warranty period is 2 years.
•    Warranty is based on normal use of the products up to 8 hours per day in an appropriate environment.
