Three types of seating solutions if you have difficulty walking

Do you have a plaster cast, a knee injury, a residual limb or pelvic instability? Or maybe another (chronic) condition that makes it difficult for you to walk? Then you want to sit as comfortably as possible and still be mobile. We offer a variety of ergonomic solutions that make a big difference. We have listed three of them for you!

1.  A separate ergonomic leg rest

When you have problems with your leg, knee or foot, sitting for long periods of time can be very difficult. It is then pleasant to sit with your leg up. A separate leg rest offers a solution. You can easily place it near your own chair. Do you want to use it in multiple places? Then go for a leg rest on castors that you can easily move. In this way, it is multi-purpose. Are you sitting with both feet up? Then a double leg rest is so nice!

What should you pay attention to?

Do you want a good leg rest that is comfortable and offers good support? Then you have to take a few things into account. First of all, it is important that the leg rest is adjustable in height. This way you can tailor it exactly to your personal needs. Go for high-quality materials that don't wear out quickly. At Score we use artificial leather, PUxx, Flex or Stamskin as upholstery. These types are super durable and easy to clean. In addition, they are available in all kinds of colours. So there is always a style that suits you. Who says practical and beautiful don't go together?

Easy to use

You want the legrest to be easy to operate. Avoid hassle with hard-to-move and adjustable supports. After all, it's there for your comfort! Score leg rests are therefore always equipped with a gas lift with reduced back pressure. In addition, they are available with or without smooth-running castors.

2.  Arthrodese chairs

Do you have a prosthesis, a long-term injury or a chronic condition in your leg, foot or knee? Then an arthrodese chair offers the seating comfort you need. You can adjust it in such a way that it gives exactly the right support. This ergonomic seating solution ensures that you can continue to do your work responsibly.

What is it exactly?

This unique chair looks a bit like an office chair. However, the difference is in the seat. This contains two leg rests that can be adjusted separately from each other. This way, you can easily adjust the chair to your needs. So you can sit with one leg lower than the other.

Options

Make the arthrodesis chair your own. At Score, you can choose from various options, such as an adjustable seat angle for extra back support. In addition, you can choose from five types of upholstery in different colours. There are also different types of castors, suitable for every floor. Prefer not to have castors? Then you can easily choose trumpet feet.

3.  Mobility work chairs

Do you spend a lot of time sitting? Does your injury or condition make it difficult to get up and walk back and forth often? Then the mobility work chair is ideal. This ensures that you can easily move around while sitting. Whether you're at home, in the office or in a healthcare environment. The wide frame gives your feet extra room. This makes it easy to move yourself in small steps.

Go for an ergonomic mobility work chair

When you choose a mobility work chair, you naturally want it to be comfortable. After all, you spend a significant part of your day on it. So make sure you have good support for the back, legs and arms. Ergonomic mobility work chairs promote a healthy posture. They can be adjusted exactly to your needs, because you can easily adjust different parts to your body. Think of adjustable height, seat angle and armrests.
